This hotel is located right in the heart of the action, nestled in a cozy little alleyway which kept it relatively quiet. The rooms offer a great view, especially those situated on the kitchen side which might sound unconventional but actually adds to the charm. The staff were helpful and friendly, recommending excellent spots to visit and ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast served was tasty and satisfying, a great start to the day.
All was fine, nothing to complain about.

The Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Siem Reap with a lot of restaurants, markets, and shops nearby. Polly (the Manager) speak very good English and Italian, she is really a kind person, very helpful and totally ONEST. The rooms are comfortable, well furnished (with a safe), very clean and quiet despite the hotel being right at the beginning of the pedestrian area. I did like the decor of the rooms, simple but functional, with natural materials (wood and stone) and with a not big/not small but functional and clean bathroom (with clean towels every days, shower gel, shampoo and hair dryer). The hotel has also a terrace on top, where you can stay and have some drinks or even dinner. For the price, the purple Mangosteen is the best hotel I stayed in Cambodia and I recommend it to all those who visit Siem Reap and the wonders of the temples of Angkor. A big "THANK YOU POLLY" for your hospitality and for making me feel welcome and appreciated.
I did miss having some drawers and good that I always travel with some extra hangers.

The location and its service.
The aircon in Room 1 may need regular servicing.

This hotel is located in a small alley in the city center, which kept it relatively quiet despite its convenient location near popular areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check out late without any extra charges. Additionally, the rooms had a great view on the kitchen, and the breakfast included a variety of options to choose from.
Everything was more than satisfactory; no improvements needed.

its location, right next to pub street, night market and old market
the shower area didn't have a door and since i was with a friend, it was kind of awkward.

The hotel was located just steps away from Pub Street, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy the city's lively nightlife. being right beside two noisy clubs meant that the noise level was high until the early hours of the morning. the room was spacious and had a comfortable bed but the bathroom was not perfectly clean. the service was okay although the receptionist struggled with English. Breakfast was not provided. One advantage was the proximity to a halal restaurant.
The pick-up service from the airport was not organized properly causing us to wait for an hour which was quite disappointing.

Really great place - would definitely stay here again. Rooms are clean and well-designed. The staff went out of the way to fulfill extra requests and the location was perfect, especially for a solo female traveller (right in the heart of the action but on a nice, not toooo loud street).

The Purple Mangosteen exceeded my expectations. The room decoration was simple yet functional, and the bathroom with the rain shower was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered was great. Additionally, the hotel manager went above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay for guests.
Cannot find any fault.

Fabulous location, very clean and cosy. Loved the roof top bar. This place is a gem, will definitely stay here if we are in Siem Reap again.
Lots of mosquitos! Can't be avoided completely of course but gaps in the door could be sealed to reduce them. The shower drain was badly blocked so we couldn't use it for very long, we should have reported it but checked out very early. Other than that everything was great!

The hotel's location was very convenient as it was just walking distance from major tourist attractions and shopping areas. the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay comfortable. the rooms were well-maintained and had a modern design that added to the overall experience.
The hotel was situated in a small alley which made it hard for drivers to locate. It was also quite noisy until late at night due to nearby bars and clubs.

Great location, right in the heart of the city with plenty of dining options nearby. The room was surprisingly spacious with comfortable beds. The rooftop terrace was a nice touch and provided a great view of the city at night.
The noise from nearby clubs made it difficult to sleep, and the lack of soundproofing only made matters worse. The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired as well, and the staff's limited English made it challenging to communicate our needs.

I had an incredible stay at a hotel located in the heart of the city center. The location was perfect, nestled away in a charming alleyway, making it a peaceful retreat. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with a spacious and functional bathroom. This hotel had fantastic facilities that exceeded my expectations; they had a DVD player with a great selection of movies that I could borrow for the night and a safety deposit box provided in the room. Also, a nearby coffee shop called Blue Pumpkin served outstanding breakfast every morning. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
